Saroj Khan, with eight wins, holds the record for most awards in this category. She is also the earliest recipient and has the most consecutive awards between 1989 to 1991. Farah Khan stands second with six wins. Chinni Prakash and Bosco-Caesar have won three times each. Ahmed Khan has won the award twice.
Madhuri Dixit is featured in 5 winning songs. Hrithik Roshan has been featured in 4 whereas Aishwarya Rai in 3 songs. Deepika Padukone and Raveena Tandon are featured in 2 winning songs each.
